Sharna serves as counsel to prospective parents and surrogacy and adoption agencies. Fertility services include gestational surrogacy, egg donation, sperm donation, and embryo donation. Additionally, she attended the Adoption Institute at the National Institute for Adoption Law & Policy and uses her experience as an adopted child to ensure best practices. Adoption services include private adoptions, international or domestic adoptions, step-parent adoptions, second parent adoptions, and reunification between adoptees and their birth families.

Over a decade of public relations, executive communications, and crisis management strategy and execution. As the former owner of a surrogacy agency and as an attorney practicing artificial reproduction technology, Sharna counsels private individuals, enterprises, and healthcare practitioners on legal requirements and best practices for growing families. Sharna provides the knowledge and expertise to help enterprises serve clients, and for clients to start their families. Sharna's legal counsel is enhanced by her experience as an entrepreneur, former Media Law professor at the University of Incarnate Word, and former strategic communicator at Fortune 500 companies. 

A graduate of  University of the Incarnate Word (BA Communication Arts) and St. Mary's University (Juris Doctorate), she also attended the National Institute of Adoption Law & Policy and the Dispute Resolution Institute at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas.

Sharna volunteers with organizations that develop youth and further local communities. She is married to her college sweetheart and they are raising three bilingual children and a myriad of rescue pets. She is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas.
